Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide wound services to residents in long-term care facilities in Washington state. The role includes diagnosing, prescribing medications per WA law, ordering and reviewing treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

You should hold an unrestricted WA NP license with board certification, DEA license (optional), and experience in wound care and long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Current WA NP license and board certification.
• Experience in wound care and chronic wounds.
• Familiar with wound VACs and DME.
• Able to prescribe meds including controlled substances per WA law.
• Experience in long-term care setting.
• Able to work with EMR and interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care for long-term care patients.
• Prescribe medications per WA law.
• Order and review treatments and tests.
• Communicate with nursing home staff regularly.
• Collaborate with primary care physician.
• Coordinate patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
