Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to Deliver wound services to residents in long-term care facilities. You will manage wounds, prescribe medications in compliance with Washington state law, and coordinate with the facility staff to adjust care plans.

Collaboration with the primary care physician is essential. Ideal candidates have a WA NP license, board certification, and experience with wound care in geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Minimum wound care experience in geriatric populations.
• Ability to diagnose and manage chronic and acute wounds.
• Familiarity with wound care products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care services for long-term care patients in skilled nursing facilities.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with WA law.
• Order, review, and follow-up treatments and tests.
• Communicate regularly with nursing home staff regarding patient condition.
• Collaborate with primary care physician as part of interdisciplinary team.
