CareMed Health Solutions is seeking a wound care nurse practitioner to provide wound services to residents in long-term care facilities in Spokane, WA. You will prescribe medications, order tests, and collaborate with nursing staff and primary care physicians to manage complex wounds.

Current WA NP license and board certification are required; wound care experience in LTC is highly valued. DEA license is optional but helpful. This role is on-site with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP license in WA.
• Board Certification required.
• DEA licensure optional.
• Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric care.
• Wound care experience including chronic/acute wounds.
• Ability to diagnose and treat diabetic, arterial, venous, and mixed wounds.
• Capable of staging pressure injuries per NPIAP.
• Familiar with wound care products (collagens, alginates, foams, silvers).
• Experience with wound VACs and DME devices.
• Wound certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Experience in long-term care setting.
• Comfort with EMR and interdisciplinary care team.

Responsabilités

• Provide wound care for long-term care residents.
• Prescribe medications including controlled substances per WA law.
• Order, review, and follow up on treatments and tests.
• Communicate with nursing home staff about changes in condition.
• Contribute to care plan development and updates.
• Collaborate with primary care physician.
