Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or MA certification.
• RN program graduate awaiting NCLEX with up to four months to test.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
• Strong written and verbal communication required.
• General computer skills, EMR exposure (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service in all patient interactions.
• Assists with procedures, takes vital signs, and collects specimens.
• Performs medication reconciliation and documents in EPIC.
• Schedules post-visit follow-ups and manages MyChart communications.
• Maintains clean exam rooms and proper instrument sterilization.
• Acts as patient advocate and liaises with care team.
