Job summary

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or graduate of an approved LPN program.
• Active LPN license to practice in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor skin conditions and treat as ordered by physician.
• Administer and record treatment medications.
• Chart patient progress, ailments, medications, and observations.
• Provide information to supervising RN about patient care progress.
• Report to the Director of Nursing with appropriate documentation.
• Identify, manage and treat acute and chronic wounds and skin lesions.
• Maintain communication with attending physicians.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Refer patients to hospital as necessary.
• Complete Medicare documentation and forms on patients.
