Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for our Edmond, OK wound care center. Under RN or Provider direction, the LPN provides wound-related and basic nursing care in accordance with center policies and CMS guidelines.

Minimum of a high school diploma/GED, graduation from an accredited LPN program, and active LPN/LVN license in Oklahoma. Two years of LPN/LVN experience, including SNF or LTACH settings, preferred; wound care experience a plus.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Customer service and follow-up abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with computerized nursing systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound-related patient care under RN/Provider direction.
• Assist in vein clinic after training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May support case management under RN guidance.
• Gather patient information and equipment for care.
• Report quality issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with team about therapeutic interventions.
• Perform hyperbaric-related duties after training.
• May act as Documentation Assistant as needed.
• Perform other duties as delegated.
