Job summary

Healogics LLC in Oklahoma is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Wound Care Center, providing wound care under the direction of an RN or provider and following hospital policies.

You will assist with vein clinic duties, intake/discharge, and multidisciplinary care, while maintaining documentation, communicating with the team, and upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in state.
• Two (2) or more years’ experience as LPN/LVN, to include one (1) or more years in SNF or LTACH setting.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider direction, provides wound-related patient care per BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic after Vein Clinic training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May provide case management assistance under RN guidance.
• Gathers patient information and necessary equipment.
• Reports quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicates with team regarding therapeutic interventions.
• May function as a scribe as per policy.
• Performs other duties as delegated.
