Job summary

Healogics is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to support the Wound Care Center under the supervision of an RN or provider. The role involves wound care, safety protocols, and adherence to hospital and CMS guidelines in a busy outpatient setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited LPN program, current LPN/LVN license, and at least two years of LPN/LVN experience, with wound care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Two or more years of LPN/LVN experience; SNF or LTACH exposure preferred.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound-related patient care under RN/Provider supervision.
• Assist in vein clinic after Healogics Vein Clinic training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May assist with case management under RN guidance.
• Gathers patient information and necessary equipment.
• Report quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with team regarding therapeutic interventions.
• Perform hyperbaric-related duties after training.
• May function as a Documentation Assistant as needed.
• Perform other duties as delegated.
