Job summary

Northridge Health & Rehab in Georgia is seeking an LPN to join our compassionate nursing team. You will monitor skin conditions, administer medications, chart progress, and communicate with physicians to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or is a graduate of an approved LPN program.
• An active LPN License to practice in the State of Georgia

Responsibilities

• Monitor skin problems and treat as ordered by physician.
• Administer and record all treatment medications.
• Chart information regarding patient progress, ailments, medication, symptoms and observations.
• Provide reports to the Director of Nursing to support updates and corrective actions.
• Assist in identifying, managing and treating wounds and skin lesions such as pressure ulcers and infections.
• Maintain communication with attending physicians.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Send patients to the hospital as necessary.
• Complete documentation procedures on patients per Medicare guidelines.
• Promote the image of the System and foster open communication.
• Contribute to committees and project work within the System.
