Job summary

Winthrop Health & Rehab is seeking a licensed practical nurse to monitor patients’ skin conditions, administer treatments and document progress under physician orders. You will coordinate with the nursing team, maintain records, and support care plans across shifts in a Georgia facility.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or LPN program completion required.
• Active LPN license to practice in Georgia required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Monitor skin problems and treat as ordered by physician.
• Administer and record all treatment medications.
• Chart patient progress, ailments, medications and observations.
• Provide progress updates and reports to the supervising RN.
• Assist in identifying and managing wounds and skin lesions.
• Maintain communication with attending physicians.
• Admit, discharge and transfer patients as requested.
• Complete Medicare documentation and related forms.
