Job summary

Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Wound Care department. You will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, with emphasis on wound assessment and documentation.

The role requires IL LPN licensure, BLS on hire, and preferred acute care and wound care experience; WCC within 1 year is welcomed. This is a full-time day shift with a generous sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have current and valid license as an LPN issued by the State Illinois.
• BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year), including wound assessment, treatment documentation, and product utilization.
• Wound Care Certification – WCC designation within 1 year

Responsibilities

• The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
