Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Wound Care Center Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide wound-related and other basic nursing care under RN/Provider guidance at the center. You will support patient care according to all center and hospital policies and guidelines.

The role requires a current LPN license, 2+ years of LPN/LVN experience (SNF/LTACH preferred), and strong BLS, organization, and communication skills. Wound care experience is preferred for this clinical position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in state of practice.
• Two or more years of LPN/LVN experience, including SNF/LTACH preferred.
• Wound care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider, provide wound-related patient care per BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic after Vein Clinic training.
• May assist with intake and discharge processes.
• Assist with case management under RN direction as allowed by state regulations.
• Gather patient information and required equipment.
• Report quality of care issues to Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with team members regarding therapeutic interventions.
• Perform hyperbaric therapy-related duties after training; may assume safety director duties.
