Job summary

Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, OK is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Wound Care team on a full-time schedule. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with dressing changes, monitoring, and collaborating with clinicians to support healing and safe discharge planning.

The role requires Oklahoma licensure, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior wound care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• OK or KS state licensure required relevant to where the employee works.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wound care and dressing changes to accelerate healing.
• Manage patient intake, prep sterile treatment rooms, and assist providers during procedures.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care to prevent readmission and support home recovery.
• Document wound progression and communicate changes to the medical team.
