Job summary

Grace Adventures seeks relational, outgoing worship-focused individuals to lead and support the worship team, implementing the mission of summer camps and guest groups by guiding worship experiences for campers, staff, and families.

You will plan age-appropriate sets, lead rehearsals, and equip the team with necessary skills while maintaining equipment and media elements, across indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the program.

• Good health and stamina for long hours in varying conditions.
• Willing and teachable attitude.
• Musical talent and experience leading worship teams.
• Team-based mindset.
• Lifeguard Certification (not required, training provided).
• Minimum age 18 years old (21 or older preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License (preferred, but not required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the worship team to facilitate worship for campers, staff, and families multiple times daily.
• Plan and prepare age-appropriate set lists and media elements.
• Lead rehearsals and teach the team essential skills.
• Model full engagement as a worship team member and strive for musical excellence.
• Maintain audiovisual equipment and operate space-appropriate systems.
• Assist in activities and general camp operations as assigned.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• We are looking for relational, outgoing, worship focused individuals who can fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and implement the mission of summer camps and guest groups by leading and supporting the members of the worship team in facilitating worship experiences and in their other duties.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support the members of the worship team as you collectively facilitate worship experience for campers entering 2nd - 12th grades, staff, and families in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments typically multiple times per day.
• Plan and prepare age and environment appropriate set lists
• Lead rehearsals
• Teach and equip the worship team in necessary skills and understanding
• Model full engagement in all aspects of being a member of the worship team
• Strive for excellence in your musicianship
• Plan and prepare media elements
• Understand the technology and systems that allow worship to happen in our various spaces
• Assist in maintaining the audiovisual equipment associated with the worship spaces

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a vital, growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Stay physically fit to be able to minister
• Oversee, encourage, and provide feedback and accountability to other staff as part of the Summer Leadership Team
• Complete staff training and follow all staff expectations
• Become familiar with campus staff, facilities, and grounds
• Attend all staff meetings
• Obey and enforce all camp rules and policies
• Implement camp, guest group, and Community Worship programs with excellence
• Run activity sites according to company procedures, including, but not limited to: Target Sports, Waterfront, High Adventure, Outdoor Activities, Teambuilding, and Group Games
• Assist with housekeeping: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor(s)

POSITION TYPE: Seasonal

HOUSING: Provided through contract dates

MEALS: Provided through contract dates whenever campers or guests are being served

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good health and stamina as required to implement a summer camp program. This will involve long hours and lifting at times. Ability to work in various weather climates and conditions.
