Grace Adventures in Michigan is seeking a worship-focused team member to lead and participate in dynamic worship sessions for campers, staff, and families across indoor and outdoor settings. You will help plan media elements, operate audio/visual gear, and support a high-energy, faith-centered camp experience.

The role is seasonal, with housing and meals provided during contract dates; candidates must be at least 17, own an instrument, and demonstrate strong teamwork and a heart for ministry.

Qualifications

• Have a personal growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Love for kids and adults and the ability to communicate with them.
• Good health and stamina for long hours and lifting; able to work in various weather conditions.
• Willing and teachable attitude.
• Musical talent and experience playing with a band or leading worship.
• Own your own instrument.
• Team-based mindset.
• Lifeguard Certification is desirable (training available).
• Minimum age 17 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead or assist in leading worship for campers entering 2nd–12th grades, staff, and families in multiple environments.
• Engage in all aspects of being a member of the worship team.
• Strive for excellence in musicianship.
• Help plan and prepare media elements.
• Understand the technology and systems for worship in our spaces.
• Assist in maintaining audiovisual equipment and inventory.
• Maintain a vital, growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Stay physically fit to minister.
• Complete staff training and follow all staff expectations.
• Become familiar with campus staff, facilities, and grounds.
• Attend all staff meetings.
• Obey and enforce all camp rules and policies.
• Implement camp, guest group, and Community Worship programs with excellence.
• Run activity sites according to procedures (Target Sports, Waterfront, High Adventure, Outdoor Activities, Teambuilding, Group Games).
• Assist with housekeeping: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

• Fulfill the overall ministry of Grace Adventures and implement the mission of summer camps and guest groups by delivering quality worship experiences through music in a variety of camp settings and by running a variety of programmed activities and activity sites to serve campers and guests.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead or assist in leading worship for campers entering 2nd - 12th grades, staff, and families in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments often multiple times per day.
• Engage in all aspects of of being a member of the worship team.
• Strive for excellence in your musicianship
• Help plan and prepare media elements
• Understand the technology and systems that allow worship to happen in our various spaces
• Assist in maintaining the audiovisual equipment and inventory associated with the worship spaces

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a vital, growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Stay physically fit to be able to minister
• Complete staff training and follow all staff expectations
• Become familiar with campus staff, facilities, and grounds
• Attend all staff meetings
• Obey and enforce all camp rules and policies
• Implement camp, guest group, and Community Worship programs with excellence
• Run activity sites according to company procedures, including, but not limited to: Target Sports, Waterfront, High Adventure, Outdoor Activities, Teambuilding, and Group Games
• Assist with housekeeping: cleaning showers, bathrooms, and buildings to meet standards of excellence
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor(s)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The information above represents the overall expectation of the entire worship team. That team typically consists of 4 different people and we are looking for people to fill specific skills/roles. Those items are as follows:

• Vocals
• Acoustic and/or Electric Guitar
• Bass Guitar
• Piano/Keyboard
• Production technology (audio, visual graphics, lighting)

POSITION TYPE: Seasonal

HOUSING: Provided throughout contract dates

MEALS: Provided throughout contract dates whenever campers or guests are being served
