Job summary

Camp Lurecrest Inc. in Lake Lure, North Carolina is seeking a Worship Leader to oversee chapel worship during the summer program and collaborate with the program coordinator and camp speaker.

Job description

The Worship Leader oversees chapel including leading the worship team, planning and facilitating chapel services with the program coordinator and camp speaker. Must be one year out of high school.

Position Details

• End Date: August 15, 2026
• Minimum Age: 18
• Position Type: Seasonal
• Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Recruit and lead worship team both spiritually and technically
  • Plan and facilitate chapel services with program coordinator and camp speaker
  • Manage sound tech, and create slides for chapel

• Able to lead worship team spriritually
• Able to complete job tasks while being attentive to camper experience and overall safety
• Respond with grace in high-stress situations
• Willing to teach and invest in campers

Requirements

• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training

Program staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job
