Job summary

Camp Lurecrest Inc. in Lake Lure, NC is seeking a Craft Shop Director to oversee the arts and crafts program for campers this summer. You will develop an age-appropriate curriculum, ensure safety procedures are followed, and supervise staff in the crafts area.

Job description

The Craft Shop Director manages and oversees all craft shop activities including developing and age-appropriate craft program and ensuring all safety procedures are followed. Must be one full year out of high school.

Requirements

• At least one full year out of high school with relevant experience
• Able to work on your feet, be outside all day, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk up to 5 miles in a day
• Signed agreement of CLM Summer Staff Handbook
• Successful completion of CLM Orientation Training

Program staff will operate under the camp guidelines for safety. By living, eating, and serving on-site, staff will model the values of CLM, as outlined in the Summer Staff Handbook and contract both on and off the job.
