Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Denver is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead engineering practices across the plant, emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency. You will develop workflows, perform time studies, and optimize layouts while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, a related engineering degree, and experience with MS Office and AutoCAD. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; on‑site position with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in MS Windows and MS Office (MS Project required).
AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Certifications such as CQM, ISO 9000/TS‑16949 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or equivalent experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead development and implementation of manufacturing engineering practices with focus on safety, quality, responsiveness, and efficiency.
Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, control plans, and work instructions (TPS).
Conduct time studies and line balancing.
Optimize material flow and plant layout through equipment and production line design.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to establish world‑class manufacturing systems (Reliability).
Set up, verify, and troubleshoot tools, machines, and processes.
Track downtime and perform root-cause analysis to improve OEE.
Lead capital projects from AFE generation to asset release (Asset Management).
