Job summary
Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes and equipment. This role reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is ideal for someone passionate about optimizing operations and mentoring technical teams.
Responsibilities include designing and deploying new processes, collaborating with engineers and production staff, overseeing quality and efficiency, and leading Lean and TPS initiatives with 5-Why and Kaizen
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading teams or projects with moderate complexity.
- Familiar with Lean, TPS, and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement innovative manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and TPS tools.
