Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnosis and repair of prototype vehicle's electrical, mechanical, and software systems
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed
• Maintain test equipment in operational condition by routine maintenance and minor repairs/adjustments
• Design, build, and modify vehicle instrumentation, mounting systems, test equipment, wiring harnesses, and data acquisition systems
• Fabricate and modify existing prototype components/fixtures
• Document setup, troubleshooting, and test results; communicate issues and propose improvements
• Prepare vehicles for testing, including instrumentation installation and troubleshooting of data loggers and test equipment
• Execute vehicle testing and data capture with support from test engineers
• Communicate with engineers and technicians to ensure technical support
• Load and transport prototype vehicles to test locations
• Test drive prototype vehicles
• Establish and maintain good relationships with partners and stakeholders
