Job description

Our Client, an EV Manufacturer company,

is seeking a Workplace Technician for their Buffalo, NY location.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnosis and repair of prototype vehicle’s electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
2. Maintain detailed records of all work performed.
3. Maintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance and making minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
4. Design, build, and modify vehicle instrumentation, mounting systems, test equipment, wiring harnesses, and data acquisition systems.
5. Fabricate and modify existing prototype components or fixtures.
6. Document setup, troubleshooting, and test results; communicate issues; and propose improvements.
7. Prepare vehicles for testing, including instrumentation installation and troubleshooting of data loggers and test equipment.
8. Execute vehicle testing and data capture with the support of test engineers to evaluate prototypes.
9. Communicate directly with engineers and technicians to ensure high-level technical support.
10. Load and transport prototype vehicles to test locations as needed.
11. Test drive prototype vehicles.
12. Establish and maintain good relationships with partners and stakeholders.
