Job summary

Google Inc. in San Jose is seeking a Share Workplace Services Manager to lead facility operations for one campus.

You will partner with internal teams and third-party partners to deliver exceptional workplace experiences and drive efficiency across REWS services. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience with 6 years in corporate real estate and facilities operations, including project management and infrastructure knowledge.

  • Experience managing extended workforce service provider models.

  • Implement consistent best practices and initiatives with peers, Centers of Excellence, and internal teams.

  • Experience managing critical lab operations and complex infrastructure systems (e.g., power, HVAC/cooling, environmental controls, and process systems) while maintaining high availability and minimizing downtime.
  • Track record of critical operations and incident response management, including leading triage, root cause analysis, business continuity, and recovery planning for operational disruptions using strong cross-functional coordination aligning internal stakeholders, facilities partners, and external vendor teams.
  • Ability to think 'out of the box' and bring creative, nonstandard, and innovative solutions to the table.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills, with strong capability presenting both verbally and through slides.

As the North San Jose Workplace Service Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact and provide operational oversight for one of Google’s dynamic campuses.

US: $128000 - $187000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

  • Act as the lab subject matter expert to align infrastructure with operational capacity, leading projects to on-time and on-budget delivery while driving stakeholder consensus.
