Job summary

Amazon seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to drive safety culture at its sites. You will lead safety programs, audits, and incident investigations, partnering with leaders to reduce risks and protect associates.

You will analyze hazards, deliver training, and advocate for safety improvements while maintaining productivity. This role requires flexibility for shifts and emergencies as part of a broad safety initiative at Amazon facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with safety regulations and incident investigations.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and related safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver safety training to associates and leadership.
• Analyze safety data to drive continuous improvements and voluntary compliance.
• Advise on process changes and equipment to reduce risk and injuries.
