Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety initiatives and protect associates across our facilities. You will conduct audits, investigate incidents, and implement data-driven safety programs to prevent injuries.

You will also act as a safety advocate, partnering with frontline teams and leadership to sustain a proactive safety culture and drive behavioral change for safer, more productive operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor's degree in an EHS-related background OR 6 months safety-related Amazon experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety program excellence through audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and coach across all levels to embed safety practices.
