Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety programs, audits, and training across facilities. You will partner with leadership to advance safety culture while protecting associates and ensuring efficient operations.

The role emphasizes data-driven safety improvements, collaborative problem solving, and effective communication to drive positive change and compliance with OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field preferred.
• 1 year EHS experience or 6 months in Amazon safety role preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience in incident investigations and safety audits is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and data-driven initiatives.
• Perform daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Deliver engaging safety trainings and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as safety advisor, building partnerships across levels of the organization.
• Translate safety data into actionable insights to drive engagement.
