Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to elevate safety culture across facilities in the United States. You will lead safety programs, conduct daily audits, investigate incidents, and drive risk assessments to prevent injuries while maintaining operational efficiency.

You will champion associate wellbeing, coach teams, translate safety data into actionable insights, and collaborate with leaders to embed safety as a core value in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) related field OR a Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background OR 6 months experience in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues in the workplace.

Responsibilities
