Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and investigations at our Chester, VA site. You will implement data-driven safety initiatives, train associates, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards while fostering a culture of safety and productivity.

You will serve as a trusted safety advisor and help write the next chapter in Amazon’s commitment to safe workplaces.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related field or 1 year in an EHS role; or 6 months experience within Amazon safety.
• Familiarity with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations; knowledge applicable to daily operations; strong confidentiality handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety programs through data-driven strategies; conduct audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments; deliver safety trainings that engage associates.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing; build partnerships across the organization; translate safety data into actionable insights to improve culture and performance.
