OneAmerica is seeking an Associate Relations Manager to advise leaders and associates on a broad range of relations matters, including coaching, performance management, policy interpretation, investigations, and compliance. The role collaborates with HR Partners and Legal to ensure fair and lawful practices while mitigating risk.

The position emphasizes strong documentation, objective fact evaluation, and clear recommendations that align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• SHRM-CP/SHP/SCP or similar certification preferred.
• Five+ years in Associate Relations/HR/Labor Relations or related field.
• Experience handling investigations, policy interpretation, and sensitive employment decisions.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders and associates on associate relations matters including coaching, performance management, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Lead workplace investigations involving policy violations and employee misconduct.
• Document plans, interviews, findings, and recommendations in a timely, accurate manner.
• Provide guidance to align with policies, employment practices, and laws.
• Collaborate with HR Partners and leaders to balance business needs and compliance.
• Analyze trends to identify proactive interventions and improvements.
• Support organizational changes and sensitive employment decisions.
