You’ll report to Head of People, build streamlined processes with AI and automation, and spend most of your week at the San Diego office with some flexibility. Qualifications

• 3+ years of workplace or office operations experience.
• Experience owning workplace operations, events, vendors, or other operational processes from planning through execution.
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail with a track record of following through.
• A systems mindset to simplify recurring work and reduce manual tasks.
• Comfort with using AI, automation, and operational tools to improve workflows.
• Strong service orientation and interpersonal skills with employees, executives, and vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and discretion with confidential information.
• Willingness to work in a fast-moving, growing company with evolving priorities.
• Able to work predominantly from Faro's San Diego office with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day experience of Faro's San Diego office, keeping it organized, welcoming, safe, and well-stocked.
• Manage facilities, vendors, supplies, access, and workspace setups; keep things running smoothly.
• Plan and execute company events and employee programs from idea to execution.
• Coordinate operational logistics for external events, conferences, and trade shows.
• Own onboarding logistics for new hires from offer to first week.
• Coordinate employee transitions across People, IT, managers, and other teams.
• Turn recurring work into reliable systems by reducing friction and automating where possible.
• Collaborate across teams to solve problems and drive data-informed improvements.
