Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, audits, and training across sites. This role builds relationships with associates and leadership to promote proactive safety practices and continuous improvement.

The WHSS will support incident investigations, data-driven risk assessments, and emergency response, ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards. Flexibility for shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in an EHS-related field or a Bachelor’s in an EHS-related background.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910; proficient in Word/Excel; maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety programs through data-driven strategies, audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing, building partnerships and coaching to embed safety culture.
• Assist emergencies and ensure effective safety delivery at the site, including response support.
