Amazon seeks an entry-level Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety initiatives at one of its distributed fulfillment sites. You’ll receive extensive safety training and develop into a safety leader, influencing culture and practices across teams.

You will coordinate safety programs, conduct audits, and support incident investigations, with opportunities to grow into broader safety leadership roles at scale.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree must be completed before your first day.
• Degree in a health and safety-related subject preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and implement Amazon's Global Safety Program.
• Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvements via audits.
• Facilitate incident investigations processes and maintain OSHA/compliance paperwork.
• Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis).
• Record safety incidents in internal databases timely.
• Innovate on process improvements and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Train and assist team members to complete safety tasks and follow safety rules.
• Provide safety training as required by the Safety Manager.
• Oversee fire prevention, hazardous waste management, and other safety-related activities.
