Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a Workplace Experience Manager for its Sunnyvale site, overseeing daily office operations, reception, and a polished VIP-facing guest experience. You will be the face of the workplace, ensuring demo-ready spaces, secure access, and seamless collaboration with the EA team on meeting logistics.

Responsibilities include managing visitor programs, vendor relations, workspace readiness, and site events while maintaining discretion with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in reception, hospitality, or facilities coordination, in guest-facing environments.
• Must be independent with ownership and strong judgment.
• Experience staffing a reception desk and engaging with executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the reception desk as the site's front-of-house post, personally staffing it and coordinating coverage.
• Oversee the Sunnyvale site operations to keep it polished, functional, and demo-ready for employees, executives, and VIP guests.
• Act as the face of the workplace and make day-to-day operational decisions with defined escalation pathways.
• Keep the site and briefing center presentation- and demo-ready, clean, stocked, and secure for VIP arrivals.
• Provide front-of-house, guest, facility, and vendor support to EA and exec teams during VIP visits and meetings.
• Manage visitor management and badge processes to ensure smooth, secure arrivals.
• Develop local vendor relationships (catering, janitorial, etc.) and monitor performance.
• Maintain supply, pantry, and workspace readiness for site visits and events.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and workspace setup with HR/Recruiting.
• Lead site-wide, all-employee workplace and culture events; plan seating/space for growth to ~80 staff by 2026.
• Identify facility, safety, and vendor risks and escalate as needed.
