Job summary

Freshfields US LLP in Washington, DC is seeking a Workplace Experience Manager to lead the DC office operations, hospitality, and conference center management. You will work closely with attorneys, business services professionals, and vendors to deliver an exceptional workplace and client experience.

The role requires strategic and hands-on leadership, with responsibility for planning, execution, and continuous improvement of workplace services, space management, and employee experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum of 7 years in workplace experience, hospitality, operations, or related fields, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Experience managing vendors and service providers, with ability to drive accountability and results.
• Ability to independently manage complex operations, projects, and initiatives from planning through execution with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication, relationship-building skills, and ability to influence stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workplace Experience services for the DC office, ensuring an exceptional experience for employees, clients, and visitors.
• Oversee hospitality programming, conference center operations, and space planning initiatives.
• Manage relationships with vendors and building management, ensuring safety, quality, and cost controls.
• Monitor budgets, invoices, and financial reporting related to workplace operations.
• Collaborate with attorneys, business services, and leadership to drive continuous improvement.
