Los Alamos National Laboratory seeks an experienced Operations Manager 4 to lead the Workplace Experience Furniture, Amenities, and Space Team (FAST). You will provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for eight programs that improve the workplace environment and employee experience across LANL.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary workforce, manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance, and partner with acquisition services to scope and plan services.

• Leadership & People Management: lead a large, multidisciplinary org incl. employees, subcontractors, and union craft personnel.
• Customer Service & Communication: deliver responsive, professional, solutions-driven service with diplomacy.
• Operational & Work-Execution Management: plan, coordinate, and drive complex operations in a regulated setting.
• Business & Program Management: manage budgets, staffing, contracts, and long-range operating plans.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 8 years related experience (or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for FAST's eight programs.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary workforce including internal staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain culture of customer service, teamwork, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Set expectations and empower leads to manage technical activities.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of furniture installations and space changes.
• Coordinate work across FAST, facility operations, craft organizations, and procurement.
• Ensure work packages are scoped, scheduled, resourced, and completed per requirements.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while balancing priorities and resources.
• Manage subcontractor performance, including safety, cost, and compliance.
• Develop scopes of work with Acquisition Services and plan future service needs.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, and performance measures for programs.
• Ensure all work complies with LANL policies and federal regulations.
