What this job involves:

The Workplace Ambassador delivers exceptional client, employee, and guest experiences through proactive, hospitality-focused service across three New York workplace locations. This client-facing role combines hands-on operational support with a commitment to creating an elevated workplace environment. You will maintain assigned floors, provide reception and operational coverage, manage workplace amenities, and support events and special projects. Flexibility is essential—you will travel between all three sites and adapt to shifting priorities based on business needs, staffing, and operational requirements. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop expertise across soft and hard services while making a meaningful impact on the daily experiences of employees and guests.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Enthusiastically welcome employees, clients, and guests while anticipating their needs and assisting with arrivals, departures, office orientations, and general workplace inquiries.
  • Travel between and provide support across all three workplace locations, with assignments shifting based on operational and coverage needs.
  • Maintain assigned floors and workplace areas by stocking snacks, beverages, copier rooms, pantry supplies, office supplies, and other amenities while monitoring inventory levels.
  • Provide coverage for reception, Workplace Ambassador functions, and mailroom operations during breaks, PTO, callouts, staffing gaps, or as business needs require.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, clients, vendors, and workplace support teams while serving as a central point of contact for workplace information, building services, wayfinding, and amenities.
  • Partner with clients and support teams to prepare for meetings, events, executive visits, and other workplace activities while demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and exceptional customer service.
  • Support ad hoc projects, special events, workplace initiatives, moves, operational requests, and other assignments while adapting to changing priorities and responsibilities throughout the day.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, workplace experience, facilities, office services, or a related field.
  • Strong hospitality mindset with a genuine interest in creating positive experiences for employees, clients, and guests.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel between all three workplace locations and provide coverage wherever needed based on business and staffing requirements.
  • Comfort with changing work locations, assignments, schedules, floors, and daily responsibilities based on operational needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with employees, guests, leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform physical workplace responsibilities, including lifting approximately 15-30 pounds and moving workplace supplies when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated flexibility and a positive attitude when managing shifting priorities and unexpected requests.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented approach with the ability to recognize what needs to be done and take appropriate initiative.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills while maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and an elevated level of service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a workplace team.
  • Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability.
  • Working knowledge of workplace technology and information systems.
  • Ability to remain adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced workplace environment where operational needs may change throughout the day.
