Job summary

CareerSource Tampa Bay seeks a Program Supervisor to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate workforce development programs and services in the Tampa Bay area. You will guide a team of Career Coaches, Program Specialists, and other staff toward high-quality service delivery and outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading outreach efforts, managing program budgets, ensuring compliance with funding guidelines, and building strong employer and partner relationships to expand work-based learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related education/experience acceptable.
• Minimum of three years in workforce development with at least one year in management; Welfare Transition/SNAP E&T/WIOA experience preferred.
• Strong prioritization, deadlines, and attention to detail in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach events to promote workforce programs and services.
• Plan and manage operation of assigned programs and ensure goals and compliance.
• Lead One-Stop service delivery activities including work-based learning and OJT.
• Maintain relationships with employers and partners; manage business contract databases.
• Collaborate with teams to maximize work-based learning and employment opportunities.
• Directly manage Career Coaches, Program Specialists, and other staff.
• Monitor staff performance; provide leadership, coaching and growth.
• Ensure adherence to budget, performance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Support onboarding and professional development of staff; assist with performance improvement.
• Monitor program budgets and resources; analyze data to drive decisions.
• Review procedures and materials for relevance and compliance; promote inclusive practices.
