Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Workforce & Organizational Development Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, training, workforce planning, and employee development across The Villages program. You will partner with operations leaders, Talent Acquisition, HR, and employees to build a skilled, engaged workforce and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Proficiency in maintaining workforce, training, and employee development records and reporting tools

Responsibilities

  • Serve as onsite lead for recruiting activity, coordinating with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition

Jacobs is seeking a Workforce & Organizational Development Coordinato r to support recruiting, onboarding, training, workforce planning, and employee development across The Villages program. In this role, you will partner with operations leaders, Talent Acquisition, HR, and employees to help build a skilled, engaged, and high-performing workforce while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the onsite lead/coordinator for recruiting activity, working with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to define needs, maintain candidate pipelines, coordinate interviews, and improve hiring follow-through.
  • Lead onboarding and employee orientation programs.
  • Manage training, certification, licensing, and qualification tracking across the program.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives that strengthen workplace culture.
  • Provide defined site-level HR administrative support and serve as the connector between employees/managers and the appropriate Jacobs HR resources.
  • Maintain workforce planning and succession data to help identify staffing needs, skill gaps, and development opportunities.
  • Partner with Business Systems & Controls to ensure administrative training is documented and delivered consistently, while retaining ownership of the training/cross-training system.
  • Partner with Program Coordination & Communications on workforce communications, recognition stories, onboarding materials, development events, and employee-facing program messaging.

The base salary range for this position is $61,700.00 to $74,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
