The trainer collaborates with partners to ensure content stays current with labor market needs. The position is full-time, with a focus on adult education techniques and multiple training modalities, including virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, HR, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in Title 1 WIOA services, workforce development, or related training.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, LMS).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training programs for workforce development initiatives.
• Deliver engaging training sessions on job readiness, technical and soft skills.
• Assess learner progress through assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with leadership to align training with industry needs.
• Provide coaching and career guidance to staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, progress, and outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends and update content accordingly.
• Report training results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire training activities.
