Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Workforce Readiness Manager for the Hopewell site to design and drive the training strategy, ensuring operators reach full qualification efficiently. You will partner with site leadership and HR to maintain a robust talent pipeline, oversee qualification processes, and manage the annual training budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HR, OD, or Instructional Technology.
• 10+ years in chemical manufacturing with training curriculum design.
• 5+ years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall training and learning strategy for the Hopewell site and develop training programs for employees designed to give employees the knowledge and capability to meet the specific organizational goals efficiently and effectively.
• Develop a strategy to mitigate risk to both short and long-term operational stability by accelerating operator training progression.
• Operate with a continuous improvement mindset to elevate current training processes and materials to enhance operating knowledge and troubleshooting components.
• Evaluate the skills of the current workforce and leverage data to identify and prioritize efforts ensuring appropriate resourcing and efforts to address critical skills gaps.
• Manage the overall learning plan for the site and partner with site leaders to manage internal and regulatory requirements.
