Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Workforce Development Manager to lead the Hopewell site training strategy. You will design programs to accelerate operator progression, ensuring a strong talent pipeline and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will partner with site leadership and HR to align development with long-term goals and budget constraints. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in chemical manufacturing, a Bachelor’s in a related field, and Six Sigma certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 10+ years in chemical manufacturing with training/learning design experience.
• 5+ years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall training strategy for the Hopewell site.
• Develop training programs to build operator knowledge and capability.
• Create KPIs for training progress and site-wide learning metrics.
• Manage the training budget and coordinate grant administration.
• Coach trainers and ensure regulatory training requirements are met.
• Partner with HR and site leadership to drive continuous improvement.
