Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Workforce Development Manager for the Hopewell site to lead the training and learning strategy, accelerate operator progression, and own the site’s training and development plan. You will partner with site leadership and HR to ensure operational stability and a skilled talent pipeline capable of meeting long-term goals.

The role requires 10+ years in chemical manufacturing, strong leadership, and Six Sigma expertise, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Instructional Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing with experience in training/learning curriculum design and development
• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role
• Six Sigma Greenbelt (or Blackbelt) certification or equivalent experience implementing productivity / continuous improvement projects

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall training and learning strategy for the Hopewell site.
• Develop training programs for employees designed to give employees the knowledge and capability to meet organizational goals efficiently.
• Standardize training and progression KPIs for the site.
• Oversee New Hire Orientation Training and manage the training budget.
