Job summary

San Bernardino County’s Workforce Development Department seeks a Business Services Specialist to be the first point of contact for employers, education, and government agencies. You will conduct outreach, build relationships, synthesize resources, and monitor program outcomes to connect local businesses with WIOA services.

The role involves traveling across the county's venues in San Bernardino, Rancho Cucamonga, and Victorville to engage employers and support workforce development initiatives

Qualifications

• 30+ semester units completed in business/public administration/education/communications or related field.
• 18 months of full-time experience as a Business Services Representative with San Bernardino County.
• 2 years of full-time experience marketing WIOA services to employers (in-person visits, business solutions).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact engaging businesses, organizations, education, and government agencies.
• Conduct outreach; build relationships; implement and monitor outcomes of workforce development programs.
• Synthesize and recommend resources and coordinate with partners.
