Job summary

Principal Financial Group is seeking a Workflow Software Engineer for the PCS Workflow team to design, build, test, and maintain BPM workflows and automation solutions. The role collaborates with delivery and partner teams to drive quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and lead process and workflow design sessions.
Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills.
Proficiency with database applications, knowledge of web programming languages, mainframe systems, and/or distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and lead process and workflow design sessions
Design, build, and test BPM workflows and automation solutions end to end
Collaborate with the workflow team and other technical teams to ensure high-quality integrations and reliable solutions
Monitor and maintain BPM platforms, including performance tuning, upgrades, and defect resolution
Diagnose and resolve workflow or system issues while providing ongoing technical support
Create and maintain documentation for workflows, processes, configurations, and standards
