Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Workflow Developer to join the Intelligent Solutions team within Securities Services Operations Transformation.

You will build low-code/no-code workflows to boost efficiency for operations users, collaborating with analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and implement features and experiences. You will model processes with BPMN, develop complex workflows, and customize forms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years developing workflows with low-code/no-code platforms such as Pega, Appian, or PowerApps.
  • Experience with BPM tools such as Camunda, Signavio, or similar platforms.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing forms/screens.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Map processes by reviewing SOPs and creating process flows.
  • Model, optimize, and document processes using BPMN.

  • Customize forms/screens to meet business needs and enhance UX.
  • Test and debug workflows to ensure quality.
  • Integrate workflows with APIs and third-party services.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot workflow issues.
  • Support change management and monitor risk, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Own end-to-end delivery tracking using JIRA and drive cross-team decisions to meet timelines.

Job description

As a Workflow Developer on the Securities Services Operations Transformation team, you will be part of the Intelligent Solutions team within the JPMorganChase CIB - Securities Services Operations Transformation organization. Your role involves building low code/no code solutions for operations users to enhance efficiency and streamline processes.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements. Partner with clients and stakeholders to design, ideate, wireframe, and prototype features and experiences.

  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and workflows.

  • Design and map processes by reviewing SOPs and creating detailed process flows.

  • Utilize BPMN to model, optimize, and document business processes.

  • Design, develop, and implement complex workflows using low code/no code platforms.

  • Customize advanced forms/screens to enhance user experience and meet business needs.

  • Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure workflow quality and functionality.

  • Integrate workflows with various APIs and third-party services.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for workflow-related issues.

  • Support change management activities and monitor adherence to risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Own end-to-end delivery tracking (scope, milestones, dependencies, risks/issues) and manage work execution through JIRA to ensure predictable outcomes. Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders to remove blockers, drive decisions, and ensure teams meet committed timelines.


Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) developing workflows using low code/no code platforms such as Pega, Appian, or PowerApps.

  • Experience with BPM tools such as Camunda, Signavio, or similar platforms.

  • Extensive experience designing and developing forms/screens.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive delivery commitments across multiple teams.


Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:



  • Experience in database management and API integration.

  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, SQL) for custom logic and automation.

  • Working knowledge of API connections and Messaging Queues (MQ).

  • Experience in Agile methodology; Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO) preferred.

  • Basic proficiency in JIRA, Tableau, and Alteryx.
