Job Description

As a Workers’ Compensation Field Case Manager, you travel to various clinical and non‑clinical settings to meet with injured workers and health care providers. Your responsibilities include determining work status, current treatment plan, and projected maximum medical improvement (MMI), advising on medical issues and providing advocacy as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to different settings to meet with patients and providers.
• Assess work status, treatment plans, and projected MMI.
• Advise injured workers on medical issues and provide advocacy.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of case management experience.
• 5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Ability to travel within a designated geographic area.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent work ability, may work from home.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and proprietary systems.

Education & Licensure

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Nursing/Board of Nursing license required, active and unrestricted for the state of Texas.

Certifications

• CCM, CRRN, CDMS, or COHN.
