Job summary

Confidential Employer in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a Workers' Compensation defense attorney to manage a caseload from inception through resolution. You will partner with experienced litigators, conduct depositions and hearings, and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.

You will build strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients while delivering excellent client service and collaborating with a mentorship-focused team.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Georgia (GA).
• 1+ year of Workers' Compensation experience.
• Strong legal writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Defense experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Partner with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients.
• Deliver outstanding client service and legal recommendations.
• Collaborate with a mentorship‑focused team.

Location:

Alpharetta, GA. Primarily in-office to promote mentorship and collaboration, with hybrid flexibility considered for candidates with strong Workers' Compensation Defense experience.

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have at least 1 year of Workers' Compensation experience. Defense experience is strongly preferred.
