Job summary

Orionplacement in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an attorney with Workers' Compensation defense experience to manage a caseload from inception through resolution. You will work closely with experienced partners on litigation strategy and develop your courtroom skills in depositions, mediations, and hearings.

Candidates must be admitted to the Georgia Bar and have at least 1 year of WC experience. The position offers an in-office setting with hybrid flexibility and a comprehensive benefits package,

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license.
• 1+ year of Workers' Compensation experience.
• Strong writing and communication abilities for litigation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Public Defender, ADA, or Solicitor experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Partner closely with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients.
• Evaluate claims, provide legal recommendations, and deliver outstanding client service.
• Collaborate with a team that values mentorship, responsiveness, and professional development.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year

Location

Alpharetta, GA. Primarily in-office to promote mentorship and collaboration, with hybrid flexibility considered for candidates with strong Workers' Compensation Defense experience.

Note

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have at least 1 year of Workers' Compensation experience. Defense experience is strongly preferred.
