Job summary

Confidential Employer in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Workers' Compensation defense attorney to manage cases from inception through resolution. You will work with seasoned partners on litigation strategy, take depositions, mediations, and hearings, and draft pleadings and discovery while building strong relationships with clients and insurance adjusters.

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia with 1+ year of Workers' Compensation experience; defense experience is strongly

Qualifications

• Active Georgia Bar license is required.
• 1+ year of Workers' Compensation experience.
• Strong litigation writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Public Defender, ADA, or Solicitor experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Partner closely with experienced attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance adjusters and clients.
• Evaluate claims, provide legal recommendations, and deliver outstanding client service.
• Collaborate with a team that values mentorship, responsiveness, and professional development.
