Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its growing practice in Jersey City. You will handle a heavy and complex caseload, manage hearings, and contribute to building out a statewide workers’ compensation practice for the firm.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active NJ State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 3+ years of workers' compensation experience.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and hearings.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Self-starter with long-term career goals.
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of workers' compensation cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process and coordinate with experts.
• Interact with expert witnesses and prepare reports and affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
