Job summary

Jobot is a California employees’ rights law firm based in Los Angeles, serving statewide, and represents workers with on-the-job injuries. This on-site Workers' Compensation Attorney position is in Los Angeles or Newport Beach, CA, with opportunities to build a growing applicant-side practice and strong team support.

You'll handle all phases of WC litigation, collaborate with case managers, and negotiate settlements.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school and active membership in the California Bar.
  • Significant experience in California workers’ compensation litigation—ideally at least 3-5 years (or more) of running WC files, hearings and settlements on behalf of plaintiffs.
  • Proven advocacy skills before WCAB or related forums; comfort with hearings, expert testimony, depositions and settlement negotiations.
  • Ability to manage a docket, collaborate with support staff (paralegals, hearing reps, case managers) and meet deadlines in a busy litigation environment.
  • Strong writing, negotiation, research and client-service skills.
